The Residential Smart Electricity Meter developed by Nu Teknoloji is Turkey’s first smart residential meter integrating non-cellular 5G (DECT NR+) communication technology.

This meter represents an advanced generation of the non-cellular 5G communication modules previously developed for digital meter conversions.
While earlier models transmitted data via RS-485 or optical ports, this new version integrates DECT NR+ technology directly, taking performance beyond basic measurement.
As a result, the device evolves into an active component of the energy ecosystem — capable of data sharing, real-time communication, and seamless integration within smart energy infrastructures.
